Abstract

Relevance: To demonstrate the need to implement visual exercises from vision therapy for transferring to the sports performance of any athlete.
Summary: This literature review will relate well-combined visual exercises with physical exercises and have control over optometric variables, visual skills, and their balance, following an intervention characterized but in agreement with the athlete, their technical team, and the club they are affiliated with. A search was conducted on PUBMED for dynamic visual therapy exercises integrated into usual physical exercises in any sport. Improvements are achieved with visual training using virtual reality for different variables in volleyball and baseball. There is transfer from visual therapy to sports training in volleyball and baseball. Greater research effort is needed in this relationship, and it is possible to measure and use visual therapies without large instruments in an optometric center.
